Here are some simple tips to take care of them and prolong their lifespan.
Wash them gently
Wash in cold water, either by hand or in the washing machine on a delicate cycle. This preserves elasticity and protects the grips. Avoid hot water, which can damage the fibers and reduce grip.
Protect them in the washing machine
If you use the washing machine, slip them into a small laundry bag. This prevents snagging and keeps them in their original shape.
Dry them naturally
Avoid using a tumble dryer: the heat can damage the non-slip silicone. Let them air dry flat, in a well-ventilated area and out of direct sunlight.
Avoid fabric softener
Fabric softeners coat the bristles and reduce their effectiveness. A mild detergent is sufficient to keep them clean and efficient.
Store them in a dry place
Keep your socks in a dry, well-ventilated area. Moisture can damage the fabric and promote unpleasant odors.
No ironing
Never use an iron: the heat could melt or deform the grips.
